Homemade “Chips of Potatoes” Recipe
Potatoes are the king of hearty vegetables. They offer vitamin C, B6, manganese and are a delicious staple in countless meals. Try this three-step recipe for homemade chips of potatoes. This snack is not only convenient to make but will fulfill your comfort food craving!
“Chips of Potatoes” Recipe
- 4 medium Thomas Fresh White Potatoes peeled and sliced very thin
- 2 liters of Grapeseed Oil or Vegetable Oil
- Sea Salt and Rosemary for seasoning
Step 1: Peel and slice the potatoes very thin and place into a large bowl. Fill the bowl with water, then drain. Take potato slices out and dry them on paper towel.
Step 2: Heat the oil in a pan or a deep fryer to 365 Fahrenheit (185 Celsius). Fry the potatoes slices in small batches (about one potato at a time). Once the slices are golden in colour, remove and drain the oil by placing on a paper towel.
Step 3: Sprinkle sea salt and rosemary to taste on each chip. Let cool, and enjoy every deliciously crunchy bite!
